ahh camping tomorrow for cross country!
I'm exciteddd. but nervous also. Because I am afraid to leave without my parents! ahh
this will probably be my last post before I leave. So this is my day today, starting from the beginning:
1) I had a hockey game at 12:30. But I got there at 11, because I thought it was at 12, and normally we get there an hour before. We won. 3-2. I was dyinggg. The other goalie, JM (initials btw) did not go, even though I thought she was. i wasn't mad, but I wasn't happy, because we only had 8 skaters, so I obviously got a lot of shots, and was very tired.
2) I went to Target, to get stuff for my camping trip like shampoo and another sports bra and another pair of running shorts. I ended up getting Eclipse :) which made my day!
off to take a showerr. see you all thursday!

ehh :/
so the job interview went okayy.
but they said my schedule was too busy right now, so they are going to try and hire me in october.
My uncle who works there was not happy. At all. They apparently told him, that they were going to hire me. He was more mad then I was. I actually didn't care that much. I mean I would like a job, but I don't NEED a job. Its not like I need to put food on the table or support anyone with this job.
Anywho. I should get back outside. My sister and cousin are setting up a trampoline in my backyard.
I might put some pics up.

Adam!/Job Interview
Last night, I saw a movie called Adam, with my friends. It is about a guy with Asperger's syndrome. He meets this girl, Beth, that lives in his apartment building after his father dies, and begins to rely on her as support. She helps him, but he also helps her through her rough period also. When Beth's father is indicted for a work related crime, Beth uses Adam as support. This movie is really good! Go see it when it comes out.
Now, on to the job interview. Yesterday Target called me, but I was at my friends house. They called my cell too, but luckily I didn't pick it up, because I don't normally answer calls that I am not familiar with the number, plus i was with my friends. It was good, because we were blasting music, and Ms. New Booty by Bubba Sparxxx was playing! And I wouldn't have enjoyed the movie with job interview on my mind. Now I am waiting for a call, because they have to call me back, because the interview slots were taken, but I am getting special treatment (which I hate!) because my uncle works there too.
I'm nervous!!
Book to read: The Killing Sea, by Richard Lewis. It is a fictional story of the Tsunami that took place along the South Asian coast, on December, 2004. It is really good, and makes you reevaluate how to live your life.

Partayyy
Today there was a family get together. haha.
It was one of the most boring things I have ever sat through.
But I got a few more presents, a book journal, earrings (my ears aren't pierced) and a scarf.
I love getting presents from people. They are so random, but normally I love them. It is always a surprise.
This week is busy
and camping starts on Sunday.
ahh! I am afraid to go away from home!

Track and Field
I love watching track and field on the television. Since I run it, I understand basically what is going on. And I have a good idea of how fast I could run each event. So watching the runners and long jumpers and pole vaulters doing their thing, makes me want to cry. They are so much better then me! But my feeling isn't tears of jealousy, its tears of pride. I am so proud of them of their accomplishments, which might sound stupid since they are all older than me, but I know how hard they must have to work to achieve that level of competitiveness, and I am proud.
Today I have since realized
1) I need some vegetarian cookbooks
2) I really love going to vegetarian restaurants
3) I am glad my mom bought veggie dogs and re-fried beans
4) I need some sheet music for my guitar, and lessons
5) I need to go to the library because I finished my books all this week (and that adds up to about 1200 pages)
A great book to read is: Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
It is kind of like a mystery book, but not completely, and the end of the book is really good! But it is by an Australian author, so some Americans might not understand some parts, but I didn't have any trouble with it, so maybe it won't be a problem for anyone.

Today me and my 2 friends went to see 500 Days of Summer.

Then after I saw it, me and my friends went to Starbucks, which i haven't been there since i was 7. And there was this SUPER hot guy that was working there

Working Papers
Ugh its that time. Work.
It sounded kinda fun before I had to actually apply.
But applying made me think of other things, like how am I going to balance work with school, hockey, cross country, softball, and track.
I already had to balance cross country and hockey.
Blah. this is going to be really sucky

SIXTEEN :)
Yeah. Today is my birthday
:)
sixteen. woot woot
I'll update later about my day.
oh yeah. shout out to Angelica, who posted about me in her first blog :)
follow her
EDIT:
So this morning my friend that lives across the street came over, around 1:30, and left at 5:20.
We basically just chilled, and went to the store and stuff, because my parents weren't home, they were doing some volunteer thing that my mom's work set up. We were going to go to the movies, but my friend, Julia, had to be back by 5:30 and the movie we wanted to see started at 4:20.
Then once my parents got home, my mom fell asleep on the chair until around 6, then we went out to eat, which i did not want to do. But it turned out alright.
Then we got home, and I read New Moon for a bit when my mom went out to go get my cake.
Then she came home, and i sat there reading a little longer, and then we had cake, and I told them not to sing to me, but of course they did. Then I opened my present, which i had already known in advance what I was getting, because my mom didn't know which camera to get.
It looks like this except it is silver, Not black.
Of course something has to go wrong with my day, so i tell my sister I am going to go swimming, with her and my mom. The pool is 80 degrees, and my mom thinks it is too cold. So gets out. While I am checking my facebook really quick, my sister gets out because I took too long, even though I was all ready to get in. Now I am a little angry. oh well..

What do you think?

This shirt, made for babies and preschool aged girls, has nipple tassels on it.
It is made by TwistedTwee
Personally, I think it is ridiculous.
What is your opinion?

Right now, I am not liking New Moon the second book in the Twilight saga. I have a feeling you guys may be hearing about Twilight from me for a while. :)
But it should pick up eventually. It could be because I am pretty exhausted.
Sorry there isn't much to say today. It is a pretty lazy day today.
I like it :)

Surprisingly I had a lot of fun this weekend. My family has property out in the country. I mean it is nothing special. Basically 11 acres, with trees cover probably 9 of the acres. There is a pond, a trailer, a shed, a well. Sounds fun... not normally. But this weekend I was up there with my parents and my sister, because she was having her 8th grade graduation party. Cute.
I was up there for 2 nights, 3 days. I will not bore you with the details, but I just realized, that I actually kind of like it up there. I mean I hate just going there for the day. There isn't anything to do. But if stocked properly, with the right books, and stuff, it isn't so bad. Basically I read my books, slept, and kept the campfire going with logs from our pile. The party was fun. The whole last hour of the party, I played with my dad's cousin's grandchild, who can't be more the 5 years old. So cute!
Now I know you are just dying to know what books I was reading. :)
Well I know this is such a cliche, but I was reading Twilight.by Stephanie Meyer. Ahhhh! I know, awful! Actually not awful, more like amazing! I was never actually planning on reading it, ever. But when I went to the library, it was sitting on the shelf. And since they are always so hard to find, because it is such a popular book, I decided to take it. Even though the book itself was only at the library for 5 months, it was really beat up. I have been reading this book for less then 73 hours and I am already almost done. I think I may marry Edward Cullen.
:D

Jon and Kate Gosselin. Who can get enough of them. Well it seems like America is getting fed up with hearing about them because their ratings are dropping dramatically. The went from 20 million viewers to 3 million, and people are criticizing TLC for allowing their show to keep airing.
New reports came out about the couples encounter with the police. When Kate came to the house on an unscheduled day, a confrontation occured, and the police were called, according to TMZ Kate called them.
Here is the article:

*Don't worry, won't be hearing much about them from me.

Euna Lee, one of two women journalists that were imprisoned for entering North Korea illegally according to the North Korea government, has returned home with Laura Ling, the other captor. A new article came out, and according to Lee, her daughter, Hana, has been expressing her fears to the family cats.

Need Advice? Ask me. I will post a blog on it, and it can help more people then one...
Anywhoo.
I read a lot online about people that are questioning their sexual orientation.
It is perfectly normal! Most teenagers question their sexual orientation by the time they are 20. Nobody talks about it, because it is a taboo in western culture, and most cultures for that matter. Most parents are not as understanding as us teenagers would like, so it is hard to talk to them about things like that and most fear their peers will judge them.
You are not alone! and just because you are questioning, does not mean you are gay/lesbian. As our brains develop, we change, and go through phases of questioning. If you feel alone you can always find phone numbers, chat rooms, trusting friends/adults, that you can talk to about this.
Don't get down on yourself! You will get through this questioning period eventually, whether it turns out how you want it, or not, but you will always have people that love you around you. Don't ever forget that.
Never be afraid to be yourself!
And once you pull out of this, you will be a better more understanding person. If you choose to have children, you can be that understanding parent that you wanted growing up.

Last night was crazy! I made this blog last night, but I couldn't post anything because of the Thunderstorms. It was seriously so close to my house. I swear that lightening hit less then 100 feet from my house. It was scary!
I wish I had a camera. Maybe I could have gotten some pretty cool pictures of the storm. But hopefully, I will get a new camera for my birthday which is in 9 days! Woot. Excited :)
The news channels have been saying it will rain basically most of the week, but it is 80 degrees Fahrenheit right now, and I am burning up. But then again, I just checked the weather channel's website, weather.com and it said there are thunderstorms supposed to be coming a little later. Fingers Crossed :)
On another note, a book I am reading, for summer reading, called First the Killed My Father by Loung Ung, is a memoir about Ung's life as a 5 year old during the hostile takeover of Cambodia, by the Khmer Rouge. It is a National Bestseller, and I like this book a lot. So if looking for a book to read, check this one out!
