I love watching track and field on the television. Since I run it, I understand basically what is going on. And I have a good idea of how fast I could run each event. So watching the runners and long jumpers and pole vaulters doing their thing, makes me want to cry. They are so much better then me! But my feeling isn't tears of jealousy, its tears of pride. I am so proud of them of their accomplishments, which might sound stupid since they are all older than me, but I know how hard they must have to work to achieve that level of competitiveness, and I am proud.
Today I have since realized
1) I need some vegetarian cookbooks
2) I really love going to vegetarian restaurants
3) I am glad my mom bought veggie dogs and re-fried beans
4) I need some sheet music for my guitar, and lessons
5) I need to go to the library because I finished my books all this week (and that adds up to about 1200 pages)
A great book to read is: Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
It is kind of like a mystery book, but not completely, and the end of the book is really good! But it is by an Australian author, so some Americans might not understand some parts, but I didn't have any trouble with it, so maybe it won't be a problem for anyone.
